Los Angeles alternative rock outfit Timid Nones is what you get when friends in overlapping bands stumble into the same rehearsal space serendipitously on different schedules. Since 2018, the scrappy quartet has brought their own dynamic and angular takes on influences like shoegaze, dream pop, and post-punk to the scene, as established by their 2022 EP Porcelain. Timid Nones is currently playing live shows across Southern California venues while recording their debut full-length album.
The band's 2026 single "Ollie" pairs heavy, fuzzed-out emotional weight with a sweeping cinematic expanse, fusing tidal wall-of-sound catharsis and dreamy, ethereal textures to preview their upcoming debut album.
